Leading KTM X-bow tuners BDM were on hand to support X-bow owner Kyri with his very first track day experience at Silverstone.
After bringing his car to BDM earlier in the year for the 300 BHP kit and a whole host of extra mods, the decision was taken to go out on track. BDM's trackside support made sure the day ran with no problems whilst the X-bow was put through it's paces. As it was Kyri's very first trackday Mark gave some useful instruction which helped see Kyri's lap times get lower and lower as the day went on. The customer enjoyed his experience so much he has booked with BDM to attend Brands Hatch GP next month.
We had the pleasure of working on Sams lovely Blue Porsche GT3 RS II.
This little beauty is often taken on track, but the standard geometry set-up does restrict corner speed. BDM unlocked the full potential of the car by doing a full in-house geo set-up including camber shim adjustment and alignment. The results were impressive and now the car is a true track weapon.
In 2009 BDM installed one of it's 325 BHP kits to a very highly modified Mk4 golf.
This was a very nicely spec'd car and it returned to us this August for a service and a full 3" custom Stainless Steel exhaust system. This was no ordinary exhaust, as it required a digitally operated noise control valve. When opened this effectively makes the exhaust a straight through system... Loud! The fact that it was 3" throughout meant the design was crucial as space under the car was tight, but BDM's skilled technician Alex did a very professional job and the results are stunning.
