Under higher stress, higher temperatures or prolonged use the intake temperatures rise. The standard intercooler can't cope and the power is reduced by the engine management system.
Our Front mounted Intercooler kit is larger and much more efficient at reducing the intake air temperature and therefore keeping the power levels up. It's been tested on track in extreme conditions and makes a significant difference.
